Privacy policy
Usual Squad · last updated 9 October 2026
Short version: we keep only what the app needs to run your squad — your email, your profile and your matches. Ratings are anonymous. No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your data. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
What we store
- Email address — to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Profile — display name, profile photo (if you add one), avatar, country, positions and preferred foot, and who can see your card (“My groups only” or “Everyone”).
- Groups — the groups you create or join and your role in them.
- Matches — date, place, teams, score, and who played. Guests added by name are stored by that name only.
- Ratings — the ratings you give and receive after matches.
Who sees what
- Your profile and card are visible to members of your groups, or to everyone if you choose so.
- Ratings are anonymous. Nobody, including the players you rate, can see who gave which rating. Cards show averages only.
- Your photo is stored privately and shown only to people who can see your profile.
Where it is stored
- Our database, sign-in and file storage run on Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Sign-in emails are sent through Resend, which receives your email address only to deliver the code.
We use no other services that receive your data.
What we don’t do
- No ads and no advertising or tracking tools.
- No selling or renting of your data to anyone.
- No use of your data for anything other than running the app.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Edit profile and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your sign-in, email, name, photo, avatar, country, positions, your cards and the ratings you received, and removes you from your groups.
So that your squads’ history stays correct, two things are kept without your name or any link to you: the ratings you gave (they were already anonymous), and your place in past matches, shown as “Former player”.
Your rights
You can see and change your profile in the app at any time. For a copy of your data, or any question about privacy, write to us.
Children
Usual Squad is not meant for children under 13.
